I had an interaction with a cashier at the Dollar Tree that I wanted to share with you. I was wearing my DDI shirt land the cashier at the store smiled and stated that she used to work at Estee Lauder. She stated that she had the pleasure of working with several individuals from DDI and that they were some of the most positive and hardest working individuals she has ever met. She went on to say that she worked with an individual named Tommy and that he was great. She was very proud of him and was even aware that he worked at Walgreens. "From the very first day, Andrew Braithwaite and his staff treated our students and their parents with the utmost care and respect." Three Village Central School District has been contracting transportation through Developmental Disabilities Institute since January, 2011. All IEP mandated accommodations are put into place immediately. No request is too large or issue too small. "Our family is incredibly thankful for the excellent services our daughter has received through DDI." She had so many wonderful, caring teachers over the years and gained many skills. We are now fortunate again that she is attending a wonderful day hab program in Plainview. She has had the opportunity through this program to be integrated into community events and activities. We are also very pleased with the adult residential program where she lives. We are able to see her continue to gain independent skills due to her setting.
