I was wearing my DDI shirt last night and the cashier at the Dollar Tree smiled and stated that she used to work at Estee Lauder. She stated that she had the pleasure of working with several individuals from DDI and that they were some of the most positive and hardest working individuals she has ever met. She went on to say that she worked with an individual named Tommy and that he was great. She was very proud of him and was even aware that he worked at Walgreens. We cannot thank DDI enough for all their hard work and dedication towards our two daughters. As of August 2018, our youngest daughter graduated DDI. This was bittersweet for us. The time has come that we have to say goodbye to one of our favorite schools-DDI! Our children have moved onto elementary schools in the district. Our son, Tommy, has autism. It is a challenge in life that is monumental; not only for the child, but for his family. There are mountains that must be climbed, and canyons crossed. Our family has been so lucky to have so many wonderful people in our corner as we have faced this arduous journey. Tommy has been a student at DDI since he was four and a half years old. My husband and I entrust our son to the care of these wonderful professionals, and I have no doubt that they strive for excellence. Our son, Tommy, has autism.
