Victoria Shoaf, Ph.D., CPA, is a Professor in the Department of Accounting and Taxation at St. John’s University. She joined the University after receiving her Ph. D. in Business, with a specialization in Accounting, from Baruch College of the City University of New York in 1997, following a business career as a financial executive.

In addition to publications addressing financial and international accounting issues and accounting education, her research includes studies of the problems of corporate social responsibility and business ethics dilemmas in the new economy. She has previously served the University as the Dean of the Peter J. Tobin College of Business, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Chair of the Department of Accounting and Taxation, and Assistant Chair. She currently serves on the Board of the Queens/Brooklyn Chapter of the New York State Society of CPAs.

She is a member of the St. John’s Chapter of the Ladies of Charity, and she is the Treasurer of Ladies of Charity USA. Victoria presently serves as the Chairperson of DDI’s Audit Committee, Co-Chairs the Corporate Compliance Committee and is a member of the Continuous Quality Improvement Committee.
