Founded by parents in 1961, Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI) has remained dedicated to a singular mission: to empower children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities to achieve their maximum potential and fulfillment. Government funding and tuition alone cannot fully fuel DDI's critical mission and the enriching programs we offer. Donor support is the crucial bridge that ensures their vitality and growth.

Demonstrating our commitment to responsible stewardship, DDI holds a 4-star (the highest) rating from Charity Navigator, America’s largest and most-utilized independent charity evaluator, empowering donors to make informed decisions about their charitable contributions. DDI prioritizes direct program support, with 91 cents of every dollar raised directly contributing to our impact.
