On June 26th, the InterAgency Council of Developmental Disabilities Agencies (IAC) in partnership with COPA, the Coalition of Provider Associations, representing more than 150 preschool and school- age special education providers hosted a Town Hall meeting about the crisis facing our 4410 and 853 schools.

The DDI Tigers were Puuuuurfect in round 1 of the playoffs with a 52 – 12 victory over the IGHL Hurricanes.

On June 18th, DDI hosted the 2018 Annual Golf Classic at the picturesque Muttontown Club and Pine Hollow Country Club.

Last week, the Children’s Residential Program (CRP) hosted their annual 2018 Field Day event at the Huntington Campus.

On Friday, Farmingdale State College hosted the 2018 Talent Connection Job Expo. The event united Long Island’s top employers with differently-abled job seekers.

The Children’s Day Program has been accepted as a 2018-2019 National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET) School of Excellence.
