To raise funds for community programming, our Adult Residential Services Without Walls Program held a Savers FUNDrive throughout the month of June.

This month, the Children’s Residential Program (CRP) hosted a Family Paint Night at the Smithtown Campus for students and their families.

On June 21st, DDI’s Adult Residential Services hosted the Women’s Health and Wellness event at our Meadow Glen Campus. Over forty women attended the event eager to learn new information and network with one another.

On Thursday, June 21st, DDI’s Joyce Sullivan delivered a beautifully decorated basket of 34 handcrafted summer hats and four lap blankets to the St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center for their Newborn Nursery and Nursing Rehabilitation Care Center.

On June 26th, the InterAgency Council of Developmental Disabilities Agencies (IAC) in partnership with COPA, the Coalition of Provider Associations, representing more than 150 preschool and school- age special education providers hosted a Town Hall meeting about the crisis facing our 4410 and 853 schools.

The DDI Tigers were Puuuuurfect in round 1 of the playoffs with a 52 – 12 victory over the IGHL Hurricanes.

On June 18th, DDI hosted the 2018 Annual Golf Classic at the picturesque Muttontown Club and Pine Hollow Country Club.

On June 6th, DDI hosted its Self-Advocacy Day 2018 at the Meadow Glen Campus in Smithtown.

Last week, the Children’s Residential Program (CRP) hosted their annual 2018 Field Day event at the Huntington Campus.

On Friday, Farmingdale State College hosted the 2018 Talent Connection Job Expo. The event united Long Island’s top employers with differently-abled job seekers.
