As DDI continues to celebrate our diverse and inclusive workforce family, it is our pleasure to share the stories, experiences, and perspectives of dedicated team members like Qinyonie.

On Saturday, May 22nd, the Long Island Bandits competitive softball team participated in the 2nd Annual Autism Awareness Tournament at Mill Dam Park in Huntington, run by Island Slow-Pitch this year.

Keeping an eye on autism and giving a voice to its Long Island community.

June is Pride Month, a time for recognizing those who paved the way for the LGBTQIA+ community and continue to do so. It’s a time for breaking down barriers and understanding that people have the right to love who they love.

Paul, Ali, and Aimee are siblings that grew up on Long Island, NY, and Paul has been a long-time member of the DDI Family! Ali and Aimee shared with us, “DDI staff and residents have become Paul’s extended family.”

Jewish American Heritage Month is a time to reflect on the contributions of Jewish people and celebrate the achievements and influences made to the history and culture of the nation. This month also looks at the history of injustice the Jewish people have had to overcome for centuries, not just in America but around the world.

The Gray family is an uplifting and encouraging DDI family! DDI is grateful for Bill, Claudia, and their son Jordan, and especially excited about Jordan’s future ahead.

The Eschmann Family has a long and notable history with DDI! We are excited that John spent some time telling us the story about his family and specifically his brother Richie.
