“Riko blossomed once at DDI,” Margaret Raustiala shared.

The Raustiala Family’s story is intertwined with the foundational history of DDI. Margaret and her husband, Kalervo, have two sons, and their youngest son, Riko, was one of the first-ever residents at DDI.

Dr. Linda Hobbs began her career of 32 years at DDI in September of 1988. She started as a part-time contract therapist, and over the years, she went on to further her career as a full-time physical therapist, then to PT/OT Supervisor, Assistant Director of the Starting Early Program in Huntington, Director of the Starting Early Program, and on to her current position as Director of the Early Childhood Services Program.
