CONTACT YOUR REPRESENTATIVES
Senator David Carlucci and Assembly Member Aileen Gunther are each circulating a letter to their colleagues, inviting them to sign a letter in support of #bFair2DirectCare, and asking that funding for a living wage for DSPs be included in the enacted NYS budget.
Please take two minutes before the end of the day TOMORROW (2/14/19) to call your Senator and Assembly Member to ask them to contact Senator Carlucci’s or Assembly Member Gunther’s office (whichever is applicable) to “sign on” to their letter of support for #bFair2DirectCare dollars in this year’s budget.

Nonprofits and coalitions across the State are coming together to demand better wages for the human services workforce – 80% of whom are women! Governor Cuomo has built his platform pushing for women’s equality yet has failed to make the necessary investments in non-profit human service organizations who employ mostly women.
Women in non-profit human services organizations: Please sign-on to this letter asking the Governor to fulfill his promise on delivering for women across New York by investing in non-profit human services organizations!
We know how dedicated you are to your work and want to ensure the Governor sees the true impact of this workforce. Each and every sign-on makes a difference by showing the Governor that women in human services are united on this issue.
