Direct Support Professionals Participate in Leadership and Teamwork Retreat

Supervisors nominated employees who excel in attitude, passion, and skills while working with the individuals they support at each of the day habilitation sites. Nominated guests received invitations to attend this special full-day event at The Bates House in Setauket.

The activities and presentations centered on Leadership and Teamwork.  The purpose was to recognize these employees who have demonstrated leadership potential and provide an experience that would help promote the employees’ advancement in their careers.

Each participant had several opportunities to win raffles and giveaways through their participation in the activities. While enjoying lunch, they were also able to enjoy the scenic ground of the Bates House.
