“It was so nice to watch the children and parents get creative together through art,” commented Briana Parrino, event coordinator and facilitator.
With the example of the finished product at each table, participants were given step-by-step instructions to complete their own painting. Even though specific direction was provided, the choices for color and brush selection were left up to each person. This freedom allowed for personal expression and style to become the focal point of the canvas.
Because of its success and the enjoyable time spent together, another CRP Family Paint Night has been scheduled for next month.
