The Reaching Up Program is the Direct Service Professional Credit Program that is a customized, flexible 12-credit program for Direct Care staff assisting individuals with developmental disabilities.
This exclusive program, sponsored by the Alliance of Long Island Agencies & Developmental Disabilities Institute, partners with both Suffolk and Nassau Community College and provides an educational pathway to a successful career.
DDI is committed to maintaining a skilled workforce and improving and developing each employee’s capabilities. This program can open doors for staff who would like to continue their education and learn skills to enhance their current roles and grow professionally.
