We're thrilled to announce the resounding success of Developmental Disabilities Institute’s (DDI) 25th Annual Golf Classic! This year, we achieved a new record, raising $260,000.
L-R: Golf Classic Co-Chairs Victor Dezelic and Sean Finn & Winner of the Longest Drive for Women, Laura Birenbaum
Co-Chairs Victor Dezelic and Sean Finn hosted 144 golfers for a day dedicated to both sport and philanthropy. Joseph W. Schmidt, Esq., Board Chair of DDI, emphasized the profound impact of your support, stating, "We are immensely grateful for the unwavering dedication of our sponsors, golfers, and volunteers who make this annual event such a success. Their generosity directly uplifts a truly vulnerable and often under-recognized community, enabling DDI to provide the exceptional care and services that profoundly enrich lives."
This remarkable event was made possible thanks to the generous contributions of our sponsors, including Corporate Synergies, Community Care Rx, Rockmore Contracting, JMF Contracting Corporation, Rosen Consulting Group, and many others.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to the dedicated Golf Committee for their tireless efforts. The funds raised, with an impressive $0.91 of every dollar directly supporting DDI's programs and services, will significantly impact the children and adults in our care.
Building on this success, DDI is excited to announce its Annual Walk, scheduled for Sunday, September 7th, at the new location, Belmont Lake State Park in North Babylon, NY. We invite you to join us for another opportunity to champion DDI's vital work within the community.
