Human Resources Assistant
DDI's Women of Excellence series honors the accomplishments of women who have achieved success at DDI and demonstrated commitment to the mission of our organization.
If you work at, or have ever visited, DDI's Hollywood Drive campus, chances are you have been greeted at reception by Human Resources Assistant, Jennifer Gregor.
Jennifer splits her time between managing a very busy front desk and performing administrative duties in support of the Human Resources Department. Her responsibilities include receiving guests, ensuring all protocols and procedures are met, answering and directing phone calls, accepting mail and package deliveries, making overhead announcements, maintaining personnel files, ordering supplies, activating employee badges and more. When things get hectic, Jennifer's organizational skills, patience and positivity ensure no detail gets overlooked while she is busy making long-lasting, positive impressions on staff, parents and everyone who visits the facility. "I have good attention to detail which comes in handy for my position," says Jennifer.
Jennifer joined DDI more than eight years ago. In 2014, she left retail behind for a new opportunity with a familiar name. She was aware of DDI and liked its contributions to the community. All these years later, and it's safe to say, she still likes DDI.
"DDI is a friendly environment. Everyone works together to achieve a goal. Everyone is kind, helpful and brings something to the table," says Jennifer.
Being respectful and helping out your team members when and where you can are qualities Jennifer values in the workplace. They are also some of the qualities that made Jennifer an obvious choice for DDI's Women of Excellence series.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies from East Stroudsburg University. Outside of DDI, she enjoys reading, yoga and Zumba. This past August, Jennifer was recognized as DDI's Employee of the Month.
