The 'Autism Nature Trail': An Outdoor Response to COVID -19

Tomorrow’s show features returning guest Loren Penman. Listeners may recall that Loren leads an ambitious initiative to develop what has been characterized as an ‘Autism Nature Trail’ - in New York’s stunning Letchworth State Park.

Not surprisingly, COVID-19 has put a bit of a ‘kink’ into the effort with some families who are living with autism and feeling particularly left out of opportunities for getting out of the house.  Tune in for an update around how the trail is fairing and to learn of the adaptations that are being made to help families enjoy this stunning park.
