DDI staff, individuals and their family members were in for a treat in our backyard on the mini-golf course located at the Meadow Glen campus. The featured film, A Night at the Museum starring Ben Stiller, played into the night where everyone enjoyed popcorn, cotton candy, cookies, chips, and beverages composing a unique movie atmosphere.
As the sun began to set, guests enjoyed a classic scavenger hunt featuring items familiar to the movie. Roman Empire, American Western, Ancient Egypt; the familiar dioramas depicting themes in the famed New York City, Museum of Natural History were cleverly hidden, creating the ultimate preview to the feature film.
Adults of all ages were delighted to use the scavenger sheets provided, listing all the concealed items. The darkness created the perfect backdrop where everyone settled on blankets and chairs enjoying the night air.
More than 30 moviegoers enjoyed the evening under the stars and had countless laughs as popcorn continued to flow.
