“Abstraction allows man to see with his mind what he cannot see physically with his eyes.” ―Arshile Gorky

Thoughts in Color Flyer

The approach to this art exhibit is to further stimulate creativity with our individuals utilizing this forgiving form allowing boundless territory.  Abstract art uses a visual language of shape, form, color, and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world.

DDI artists will display their artwork on canvases with acrylic paint, using techniques such as imprinting leaves, creating singular lines, or applying paint with plastic scrapers creating deliberate thought-provoking art.  We believe our artists at DDI, having been engaged in our current art program and ultimately exhibiting has provided an enriched view into their own interpretation and expression of art.

Visitors can expect an array of beautiful abstract art that leaves one thinking beyond everyday art.   Through our DDI artists; the hopes are of inspiring curiosity reaching one's imagination in this captivating art exhibit.  All artwork shown in this exhibit has been created by our artists here at DDI. Every artwork piece created by our individuals is for purchase; whereas, 100% of the sale of each artwork piece is given directly to the artist.

All are welcomed.
