The Incredible Egg Hatching Program

The students will be able to follow the development of a chick from embryo to hatching. This program will integrate the concepts of chick embryology into easy-to-use math, science, and language arts in the classroom.

In addition, the students will learn to develop intellectual curiosity, learn through experiences, and learn by using the five senses.

Once hatched, our feathered friends will spend approximately two weeks with the class and then be returned back to the Cornell Cooperative Extension to participate in studies or be adopted by responsible families.

We look forward to keeping you updated on our chick progress and what the students have learned!
