The ten team members came ready to assist in the care and beautification of the Busy Town Playground, Outdoor Classroom, and the Parent Drop-Off Kiss and Go area. With smiles and green thumbs, the group set out to remove weeds, plant several flats of flowers, and spread truckloads of mulch throughout the day.
This partnership is the result of an alumni parent’s application to his employer, Goldman Sachs, to lead a team of volunteers to share their support for DDI. Additionally, Goldman Sachs donates a $1,000 budget to help with the landscaping supplies for the grounds.
We are very thankful for this community partnership and are grateful to the volunteers for investing their time to care for the environment where our students come to learn and grow every day.
