Research Review Committee

 

DDI is committed to using evidence-based practices and encourages its staff, and students/faculty from outside educational and service organizations to conduct research at our agency.

 

Any research activity at DDI must be approved by the Research Review Committee (RRC) prior to commencement. This includes research that has received an exemption from the researcher’s institutional IRB, and/or research assigned as a class project.

 

Approval by the RRC to conduct research at DDI does not guarantee access to or participation by any particular individual or group. Research with human participants is completely voluntary and based on informed consent and participant assent.
